as Cantab Consulting Founded in 2002, Cantab Consulting is an independent mining and environmental consultancy offering specialist services to the extractive and water industries based on the expertise of the Principal, Mike Cambridge, who has more than forty years’ experience covering a wide range of projects internationally.
The
Company provides specialist services in the auditing of mine, quarry
and reservoir projects throughout the world, particularly with regard
to planning, design, construction, operation, closure and statutory
compliance. Broad due diligence, auditing and third-party review
services are also offered in conjunction with expert associates.
Cantab Consulting is currently responsible for the annual auditing
of more than 50 embankment dams for the containment of mineral residues
and for water storage. The broad scope of services provided, covering
tailings management facilities, mine and quarry projects, hydraulic
disposal of mineral wastes and UK dams and reservoirs, is reflected
in its client list, which includes Governmental bodies, the European
Commission, statutory authorities, and both large and small companies.
The technical skills base of the Company is further reflected in
more than forty technical papers authored by Mike Cambridge on all
aspects
